Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994) is a comedy film starring Jim Carrey as the eccentric and wildly animated animal detective, Ace Ventura. Known for his outrageous behavior, strange wardrobe, and hilarious catchphrases, Ace is called in when the Miami Dolphins mascota dolphin named Snowflakemysteriously disappears just before the Super Bowl. As the team‘s desperate search for their prized mascot intensifies, Ace uses his unorthodox methods to track down clues, interrogate suspects, and infiltrate bizarre situations, all while driving everyone around him crazy.

Despite being ridiculed by the police, Ace follows a trail of bizarre evidence that eventually uncovers a shocking twist involving a disgraced ex-football player and a deep-seated revenge plot. His investigation leads to over-the-top encounters, slapstick moments, and nonstop laughs, with Carreys physical comedy taking center stage. Along the way, Ace is aided by Miami Dolphins publicist Melissa Robinson, played by Courteney Cox.

Directed by Tom Shadyac, Ace Ventura became a breakout role for Jim Carrey and helped launch his career as a major comedic star. The film is known for its wacky humor, quotable lines, and absurd but memorable storyline, cementing its place as a cult classic in ‘90s comedy cinema.
